Cuban Flavors

Once again, I'm a little late getting this one posted. But for 3 years know, I've had a good feeling that American's will be increasinly getting into Cuban cuisine. It offers similar tastes, but a well break from the Tex-Mex overload. And with Hispanics becoming such an important and powerful group in this country, their tastes will undoubtedly continue to spill over to other groups.

I have noticed that Panera has begun carrying Cuban sandwiches already. I would not be surprised if the Classic Cuban Pork sandwich becomes the gateway meal that first opens American's minds.
